This year’s ride starts at 2pm on 5th July in Adastra Park, near the Grand Avenue/Orchard Lane car park. Assemble at 1.30pm.

We are taking a leisurely fourmile route through Hassocks. The event will be marshalled. The route has been ridden and risk assessed, and the Councils and Sussex Police have been informed.

Based on last year’s event, this should be an easy, fun ride for the family. Given the nature of the ride, we will proceed at a sedate average speed of 3 to 4 miles an hour. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Last year’s event was on a very hot day, and it could be hot again; so bring plenty of suncream and water. And please make sure all bikes are checked out by a qualified mechanic in advance of the ride. See you there!
